Warranty

We provide this warranty to you in addition to any rights or remedies you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Every Razorback 4x4 seat cover comes with the follow warranty against defects. Our warranty periods start on the date of purchase of the product and are set out as follows:

• 2-year warranty for standard neoprene covers
• 3-year warranty for premium neoprene covers
• 3-year warranty for canvas covers
• 3-year warranty for Tourer covers
• 3-year warranty for Signature Series covers
• 6-month warranty for premium neoprene steering wheel covers
• 4-month warranty for standard neoprene steering wheel covers

Razorback 4x4 will repair or replace (at Razorback 4x4’s option) any product with a manufacturing defect during the warranty period. This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and only applies to the products purchased directly from us.

Our warranty does not cover:

• Tears, holes, rips from excessive use, including sliding on the seat getting in and out of the vehicle.
• Gouges that may result from usage beyond normal wear and tear.
• Improper fitting (see our website and instructions for fitting directions).
• Your failure to follow any instructions or guidelines provided by us or to properly maintain the products in accordance with any of our instructions or guidelines.
• Your failure to notify us of any defect in your product within a reasonable period of time after you become aware of or ought to have reasonably become aware of the relevant defect.

How do I make a warranty claim?

As soon as you see a defect, stop using the product and contact us at support@razorback4x4.com.au to discuss the issue. Please take photos and email them to our team for review along with the proof of purchase. If we determine that there may be a valid claim based on the photos and your descriptions of the issue, we will provide you with a prepaid postal label to return the product to us. However, providing the prepaid label does not constitute approval of your warranty claim. Your claim will be fully assessed upon receipt and inspection of the returned product.

We will do everything we can to help you through the process of returns and make sure you are updated throughout the claim process.

Are Razorback Seat Covers Airbag Compatible?

Absolutely. We take safety very seriously, which is why all of our seat covers include highly-engineered airbag seams that have been independently tested at a state-of-the-art facility here in Melbourne.

Proper Installation

When installing your new seat covers, you will need to pay close attention to make sure the seat's airbag seam lines up correctly with our specially engineered airbag seam on the cover. Failure to do so may cause serious harm to yourself and your passengers. Here is an example of what the airbag seam tags look like:

We put the utmost value on your safety and have designed our seat covers to include a specially engineered airbag seam. This seam uses a special thread at a different tensile strength, designed to burst with the airbag to allow safe deployment in the event of a collision.

Our covers have been tested in Victoria by APV-T, a company who specialise in crash and safety testing, and they've awarded certifications to our covers after rigorous industry-standard safety tests.

The time for full inflation of the airbag with our neoprene covers are 12.4ms and our canvas is 11.4ms as per our test with APV-T in Victoria.
